Hi, I’m Emily.
I love to create meaningful, user-friendly learning experiences and solutions that close performance gaps and help people build the skills and knowledge they need to be successful. Combined with my growth mindset, keen eye for detail, and passion for digital design, I’m genuinely excited about what I do and am eager to learn new strategies and tools that will improve any phase of future projects I’m involved in.
A skilled collaborator and communicator, I adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently both independently and as a cross-functional team contributor. My in-depth knowledge of ID models (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy) and adult learning principles, partnered with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, help me design and develop engaging training programs, eLearning courses, videos, and instructional materials that cater to diverse audiences and align with organization goals.
Experience and Skills
Course Creation (ADDIE): I’ve designed, developed, and launched e-learning and self-service training programs for targeted groups of employees and on a company-wide scale, ensuring content and learning outcomes are targeted to the specific needs of the audience and aligned with the organization’s objectives.
Video Production: I’ve scripted, recorded, and edited instructional videos to meet standards of quality for customer-facing materials using ScreenPal and Camtasia, as well as storyboarded guided walkthroughs used within a customer-facing platform.
Job Aids & Templates: I’ve ensured content alignment with company branding and learning objectives, closely reviewing, revising and publishing instructional materials to ensure accuracy and accessibility for audience.
Digital Design: I’ve designed and leveraged new templates and layouts to provide a modern learner experience in alignment with company branding, as well as updated our team SharePoint site and Customer Training Catalog (Articulate Rise) to meet branding guidelines.
Collaboration: I’ve excelled in cross-team collaboration, both leading and contributing to cross-functional team projects, and working closely with SMEs and developers to execute against approved storyboards/scripts and committed timelines.
